New Food Friday: Sweets From The Earth

There are always lots of changes happening at Moberly Natural Foods. If you’ve wandered by the freezer section lately, you’ll have seen some delectable-looking new products on the shelves . . . and in this case, the looks are NOT deceiving. Welcome to the shelves, Sweets from the Earth!



This family-run Toronto company is dedicated to making delicious desserts for vegetarians, vegans, and those with food intolerances. All of their products are dairy, egg, and sesame-free, and either nut or gluten free. They have one dedicated nut-free bakery, and one dedicated gluten-free bakery, so you can be guaranteed no cross-contamination in the manufacturing process. And they’re GMO-free and kosher, too!


We have three brand new frozen desserts for you to try:

Wild Blueberry Cheesecake – dairy free, peanut and nut free, topped with blueberries, and sitting on a cookie crust.

Chocolate Fudge Cake – also from the dairy, peanut, nut free line, this cake has ALL THE CHOCOLATE!

Spiced Carrot Cake – Guess what? This one is dairy, peanut, and nut free, too! As a bonus, it’s got REAL CARROTS hidden inside. It’s practically a vegetable!

We chose these ones to start with, because they’re all school lunch friendly and, well, delicious! Come in and try them for yourself!
