This week, we brought in a new product from a line you already know and love: Progressive. New to the shelves of Moberly: Progressive OmegEssential Fish Oils!
Why We Love Progressive
Progressive is a Canadian company (yay!) of carefully researched and formulated products. Working with naturopathic doctors, they select the best ingredients to create high quality products for their consumers.
Why Fish Oils?
Having adequate intake of Omega 3 fatty acids is so important for your health, but most of us have difficulty getting enough to meet our daily needs. Additionally, plant sources of omegas must be converted in the body to the usable DHA and EPA forms, which doesn’t always happen as completely as we’d like.
Fish oils are a great option for those who a) don’t eat fish on a regular basis, and b) need an additional boost in the following areas:
- cardiovascular health
- focus and concentration
- mood/mental health
- reduction in inflammation
- healthy skin and hair
Why Did We Choose Progressive Fish Oils?
Progressive uses a blend of three fish oils (sardine, anchovy, and mackerel), all of which are cold water and wild caught to minimize impurities. They are then molecularly distilled to remove any remaining contaminants, paired with additional antioxidants to protect the oils from oxidation, and supporting nutrients are added to keep your liver and gallbladder in tip top shape. Finally, they are IFOS tested and certified to guarantee purity and potency.
Progressive Fish Oils are available in liquid (orange flavored!) or gel capsule form, depending on your preference, and some varieties have added Vitamin D (1000 IU) to help keep you going through the winter. We also brought in their Forte line: therapeutically dosed for those facing specific health challenges (mood balance, cardiovascular health, rheumatoid arthritis, etc.).
Come in today and see which fish oil is right to keep you swimming through life all year long!
